The TBP Global Strategist Fellowship Institute is the learning, professional-development and talent-formation arm of The Borderless Project.
The Institute develops a global community of strategists, professionals, researchers, technologists, entrepreneurs and specialists equipped to understand emerging systems, apply knowledge through DESQUELET®, and build meaningful applied project experience within the TBP ecosystem.
The Institute was established to create a bridge between knowledge and application. Through structured Fellowship programmes, the TBP Project Portfolio, multidisciplinary learning and DESQUELET®, participants are given an environment in which they can investigate complex challenges, question existing systems, explore alternatives, develop ideas, test propositions and build documented professional evidence.
The longer-term ambition is to develop a growing international pool of professionals capable of participating in the future development, implementation and evolution of TBP's emerging global trade, maritime, energy, data, infrastructure and capital systems.
The Institute therefore operates not simply as a learning platform, but as a professional formation environment connecting knowledge, methodology, applied experience and future-facing projects.

The philosophy of ÌMỌ̀DÒYE™ is represented through the image of a growing tree — explored in full below. In short: every journey begins beneath the surface, with education, research, professional experience, observation, curiosity and lived experience forming the roots from which deeper understanding can grow. Knowledge gains strength when it is understood, questioned, connected and interpreted — the trunk of wisdom. Wisdom creates the foundation for direction, and strategy extends that understanding outward through framing, planning, design, systems thinking and execution. A Metaphor for the Development of a Global Strategist
The tree is more than the visual symbol of the Institute — it represents the philosophy of formation behind ÌMỌ̀DÒYE™. A mature tree develops beneath the surface long before its growth becomes visible: it establishes its roots, draws nourishment, creates strength through its trunk, expands through its branches and eventually produces a canopy and fruit. The development of a Global Strategist follows a similar journey.

Every Fellow arrives at the Institute with their own roots — an undergraduate brings emerging knowledge, a professional brings experience, a researcher brings enquiry, an entrepreneur brings practical understanding, a specialist brings expertise. The Institute does not erase these foundations. It helps participants deepen and apply them.

Trunk — Wisdom
The trunk represents Wisdom. It gathers what the roots have absorbed and transforms it into strength, stability and direction.
